GABA tea stimulates mental alertness and has anti-stress and relaxing properties and is believed to aid in weight loss.

GABA is short for Gamma-amino-butyric acid, which is a healthy amino acid found in and produced by the human body

GABA tea is made by oxidizing the tea in a nitrogen-rich atmosphere instead of air. This oxidizing process results in a tea with high levels of GABA.GABA possesses anti-stress, anti-anxiety, calming and relaxing properties. It is an antioxidant, antibacterial, a weight-loss aid, and can stimulate mental alertness and is known to reduce high blood pressure. GABA tea is best consumed before bedtime, as it is mildly sedative and can cause drowsiness. Use 1 tsp. per cup, brew in hot water (85-90 °C) for 3-4 min.
