Genmai Cha (Australia)

Warm, comforting, and wonderfully toasty, this Australian-grown Genmai Cha combines premium Sencha green tea with roasted rice to create a smooth, nutty infusion that is especially enjoyable on cooler days.

Made from 100% Australian-grown and produced ingredients, Genmai Cha is a traditional Japanese-style green tea blended with roasted rice. It has a rich, gently toasted character with a smooth, savoury finish. Often referred to as popcorn tea, it gets its distinctive aroma from the roasted rice, with some grains naturally popping during the roasting process.

Brewing: Use one generous teaspoon per cup and brew for 2–3 minutes in hot water at approximately 80–85°C.
