Genmai Cha (Australia)

Warm, comforting and wonderfully toasty, this Australian-grown Genmai Cha combines premium Sencha green tea with roasted rice to create a smooth, nutty infusion that's perfect for cooler days.

Made from 100% Australian-grown and produced ingredients, Genmai Cha is a traditional Japanese-style green tea blended with roasted rice. It has a rich, gently toasted character with a smooth, savoury finish. Often referred to as popcorn tea, it gets its distinctive name from the delightful aroma created by the roasted and occasionally popped rice.

Use one generous teaspoon per cup and brew for 2–3 minutes in hot water (80–85°C).
