Matcha (Japan) Organic

Organic Ceremonial Matcha is a finely ground Japanese green tea with a vibrant colour, smooth texture and rich, distinctive flavour.

Traditionally prepared with a bamboo whisk, Matcha is whisked directly into the water rather than infused and strained, allowing the whole tea leaf to be enjoyed.

Traditional preparation: Place 1–2 scoops of Matcha, using a bamboo Matcha scoop (chashaku), into a Matcha serving bowl. Add warm water at no more than 80°C, then whisk briskly with a bamboo chasen in an “M” motion until smooth and lightly frothy.

For a larger batch, simply increase the amount of Matcha and water while keeping the same proportions.

Quick preparation: Use a small scoop of Matcha in a cup, add warm water at no more than 80°C and stir well until fully mixed.

Matcha can also be used in cooking, baking, smoothies and other drinks.

Packed in a screw-lid container inside an airtight foil bag to help preserve freshness, colour and flavour.
