Silver Needle white tea of high grade. Makes a light coloured tea with a silky smooth taste and a subtle sweet character and light nutty undertones.

Silver Needle white tea is a highly regarded tea and was once reserved for the Chinese Imperial family. It is harvested during a few days every spring season, when the first buds are covered in tiny ‘hair’, which give the tea its silvery look. The taste is silky smooth and subtle with a light nutty aftertaste and a lingering touch of sweetness. Use 1-2 teaspoons per cup, brew for 3-4 minutes in hot water (85-90°C).
