Matcha (Japan) - Make Matcha the traditional way by using a bamboo tea whisk (chasen). Place one teaspoon (for 4 cups) of matcha in a larger bowl and pour warm water (max 80 °C) over. Mix the tea by moving the chasen (matcha whisk) across the brew ‘drawing’ the letter M until the mixing is done. Serve in small cups.
Or make it the quick way: Place 1/3 teaspoon matcha in a cup, pour over the water (max 80 °C) and stir with a spoon until mixed. Enjoy.
This tea is also commonly used in cooking.
